Sales Manager


Job Description

We are seeking a results-oriented, Europe-based Sales Manager to oversee business development opportunities for our suite of law enforcement (LE) focused products in the EMEA (Europe/Middle East/Africa) Region. Our suite of products and services make it easy for LE professionals to easily make use of complex data for investigating and prosecuting crimes. We strive to provide the fastest and most visual user experience possible for LE professionals faced with the challenges of working with data from a variety of sources. All of our products and services are supported by our first-class technical support team who is consistently rated #1 in the LE community by our users.

The successful candidate will understand what motivates customers to buy while creating a strategic growth plan to meet sales targets and revenue growth. Other key areas of this role include problem solving for existing clients; training new, potential, and existing clients; support case management; and client business travel. Ideally, you have experience within the Law Enforcement or Military communities and have a strong network to help connect users with their peers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leading new business development within the assigned territory
  • Management and growth of existing accounts as assigned
  • Develop regional sales strategies
  • Lead prospecting, qualification & conversion
  • Pipeline management
  • Achieve yearly sales targets
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports to management team
  • Marketing and Event Support

    • Assist in identifying trade show and conference opportunities
    • Exhibit at trade shows and conferences
    • Present/Speak when possible at conferences showcasing products
    • Assist in creation and review of marketing materials
  • Liaise with Uncharted business partners
  • Oversee the hiring, development and management of EMEA business development representatives as necessary in the future

Required Skills and Experience

  • Track record of demonstrated successful software sales
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages highly desirable)
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Previous experiencing working with end users
  • Enjoys and strong aptitude for problem solving
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with excellent time management and organization skills
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Flexibility to travel across Europe and North America as required - 25% business travel time required

Working Conditions

  • Working primarily from home office in Europe (transition to company office if required in the future)
  • Responsible for maintaining a suitable environment for client calls and online meetings
  • Working from client sites and conducting client meetings as required
  • Periodic visits to company headquarters in Toronto, Canada
