Job Description

Uncharted Software is currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join our team. You will play a crucial role in the management, support and execution of the data products underlying our tools for Law Enforcement. As a Data Analyst you will be passionate about delivering reliable, innovative, and scalable data solutions to everyday problems faced by our users. You will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including gathering and prioritizing requirements and working closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met. You will become a subject matter expert and educate both customers and internal teams on the impact and value of our customer’s data formats.

The position requires a patient, detail-oriented and creative individual who thrives on cleaning data and is keen on enabling our customers to use digital evidence for the investigation and prosecution of criminals.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert on the law enforcement data formats used by our customers
• Validate and assess the impact of new and updated data formats
• Create and document requirements for developers
• Collect and analyze feedback from customers, evaluators, and stakeholders
• Quality assurance of the data pipeline
• Educate those around you on new and updated data formats
• Prioritization, planning, and execution of releases
• Coordinate internal teams around launch and release activities
• Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the company vision

Required Skills & Experience

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related technical practical experience
• 2+ years in an analytical role that is heavily related to data formatting or ETL
• Proven quantitative and qualitative skills used to make data-driven decisions
• Track record of breaking down projects into Minimum Viable Products
• Experience working in a Software Development environment
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an extreme attention to detail

Working Conditions

• Working primarily from home (even in non-COVID times)
• Collaborating with the team at the office and remote members
• Responsible for maintaining a suitable environment for client calls and online meetings
• Working from client sites and conducting client meetings as required
• Minimal travel as required (U.S. and Europe)
• Please note, due to COVID we are currently working remotely
