2020 Year in Review
A year of pandemic adaptations, highlighted by product wins
Despite the many unforeseen challenges of 2020, it has been another year of exciting new firsts at Uncharted.
Towards a Paradigm for Visual Modeling
Augmented intelligence for compositional problem-solving with large-scale systems
This seminar describes the visualization and augmented intelligence techniques being developed by Uncharted for interactively exploring, assembling and engaging large, complex graphical models.
Classifying News and Social Media for Visualization
Using a semi-supervised machine learning and visual analytic workflow to simplify the creation of document classifiers
As we recently discussed at the 23rd International Conference on Information Visualisation, one challenge with visualizing unstructured sources like news and social media is getting the right data. To remedy these problems, we created a subsystem to help domain experts who lack data science knowledge so they can easily build better classifiers once and only occasionally maintain them.
TellFinder in the News, May 2019
Highlights from Medium's OneZero and the TellFinder Alliance
TellFinder “slaloms through terabytes of the deep web to search where Google can’t” and helps analysts identify an international sex trafficking network, leading to more than a dozen FBI-led sting operations targeting U.S.-based criminal organizations.
DARPA's 60th Anniversary
Uncharted finds a place of honor in DARPA's storied history
Uncharted congratulates DARPA on its recent 60th anniversary. For nearly 20 years, we have worked with leading minds on “DARPA-hard” technology challenges. This immense privilege has afforded us the opportunity to apply thought, design, and implementation leadership in the data-driven art and science of visual analytics to new breakthroughs in human empowerment.
